The team from McCallums Linenmaster make the trip up from Invercargill Monday to Saturday to deliver fresh laundered linens, and Sunday they do a pick-up of dirty linens that goes to the depot in Queenstown. They also provide any extra linen on request as the hotel might need to keep their busy, popular, and quality hotel running smoothly. And the great thing is, no matter what they might need, it’s only ever a day away.

Karen Barr, the general manager at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel, says “McCallums Linenmaster are great.” She continues “I simply don’t think we could cope if we had to do this ourselves in house. We have quite a transient workforce, so if we had to manage our own laundry it would be an issue with staff turnover and retraining.” Outsourcing has been an easy choice for Wynhdam Gardens Hotel as McCallums Linenmaster make it so easy for their team to keep on top of the ever-increasing demand from visitors to the region.
Even though McCallums Linenmaster is located in Invercargill – a 2 hour stunningly scenic drive from Queenstown, they make the trip Monday through to Saturday. And if the hotel needs anything extra due to high demand or miscount their requirements, McCallums Linenmaster comes to the rescue. “We just make a quick call and it’s sorted for the next day’s delivery.” Says Karen. “Sometimes we get our numbers wrong and under-order so it’s great to be able to get that sorted quickly and not get caught short for too long.”
